The Natural History Museum of the Aegean is located in the town of Mytilinii on the island of Samos and it is a very interesting museum, since it hosts a plethora of paleontological findings, including about 300 kinds of minerals and rocks, shells and 350 species of fish, 40 species of birds, 30 species of animals, reptiles and amphibians of Samos and 3000 Greek herbs.
