Valeondades-Houses includes three properties, traditional buildings which have been restored with great care.
Each of the buildings consists of two apartments (one on the ground floor and one on the second floor) with separate entrances and outdoor sitting areas. The apartments are decorated with original furniture, paintings, icons, rugs, tapestries, ceramics and other articles of domestic use and offer simple but comfortable accommodation such as shower/WC, kitchen with fridge, electric cooking rings and all necessary appliances for two to four people.
Valeondades is a small village in the greenest part of the island of Samos, in the middle of the charming Valley of the Nightingales.
The Nightingale Valley is a little piece of paradise just one kilometer from Agios Konstandinos which lies on the shores of the crystal clear blue waters of the Aegean sea. In the heart of the valley surrounded by plane, walnut, laurel and olive trees and grape fields on stepped – terraces, are the Valeondades-Houses characterized by the Greek ministry of culture as ‘a rare sample of local architectural and traditional art’ and they are even protected by a special law.
From the apartments, you have a beautiful view of the lovely green valley and the nearest mountain, called Lazarus. In spring and autumn, the only sounds that you can hear are the water flowing down the stream and the hooting of the owls.
